I might be lucky to have this name but I have never known Sabrina is another girl which is famous. and I have never seen Sabrina movie, comic books, and other I am a muslime girl from Afghanistan

I’m alright with my name. I used to want a different name before but now it’s just neutral. Since it’s uncommon, it’s funny seeing all these comments from other users whose name tags are Sabrina and how it only just made me realize how actually pretty the name is. I never really gave it much thought whenever I look at my own name compared to when I looked at others, if that makes sense.

Growing up, my friends called me Sab and my family called and still calls me Rina. I always wanted to be called Rin as a nickname, but I felt it’d be weird to start now that I’m older.

With the “Sabrina and the Teenage Witch” name-calling and all that, nobody really referenced me with that apart from one person. If anything, the name-calling all came from my 2nd name which is Anna.

  3. Sabrina says:

I love my name especially as I’ve gotten older. People always find it interesting. In school I always got Sabrina the teenage witch but laughed it off I was never bothered by stuff like that n it came from friends.

I was named after Sabrina in Charlie’s angels. She was pretty smart and cool n could fight lol so I’m happy with that. Always a good converstion starter when I correct someone about where my name came from.
I get called Sabs Brina Brini mostly by family. Bri mostly by friends esp. now that I’m older. My uncle always called me Beanie Bud as a little kid lol; he was a nice person though so it never felt butchered just endearing to a toddler.

Also heard Rini Ri Tina apparently I don’t mind them either. Never like Sabby too corny lol

  4. Sabrina says:

My name is Sabrina and I must admit that I am not too fond of my name either. lol I used to love it, unfortunately, due to the messed up nicknames like “Sabrina the Teenaged Witch”, & “Sabrina the Teenaged B****”, the love for my name has been tainted. On the cooler side of things, I have to pretty cool nicknames. Bri is the most common. Brina, Bri-Bri, Bina, Bini (Beenie), Sabs are a few others. My high school friends still call me Bini to this very day. I wouldn’t change my name, though I will say it is quite annoying when people butcher it on purpose.

  5. Sabrina says:

I absolutely LOVE my name, but I have to admit it made me suffer for quite a bit during middle school. I was born in the 90’s so the only reference people had in regards to my name was “Sabrina, the Teenaged Witch”. My nickname was usually involved that phrase, often replacing “witch” with something else that rhymed.

However as I grew older and found mature friends, I grew to love my name. It’s uncommon and incredibly pretty. Some of the nicknames I’ve been called are: Bri, Brina, Bree, Sabby, Sabs, Babs and Sabrinee. I prefer to go by Babs, or Sabs.

  8. Sabrina says:

I regret my name everyday of my life. I couldn’t think of anything worse and I’m going to change my name when I can. Anything, anything but Sabrina. Not going to lie I love anything with an a as the first letter. Reason 1. I hate my nate, THE NICKNAMES! These are things I have been called boo a beany saboona brina. I HATE ALL OF THOSE SO MUCH! If I had to choose anything, I would choose Bri but nobody calls me that so 😶. Reason 2. The comments… “omg are you like Sabrina carpenter?” “What the heck is the name Sabrina.” “Sabrina is a weird name.” I hate the Sabrina carpenter ones the most though. Reason 3. You literally cannot name yourself anything on social media… I wanted a new @ and I was looking around and none of it NONE OF IT felt right. I’ve always aspired to be like @madelame and I can’t because of my stupid name. It’s so dumb I’d rather be called almost anything than Sabrina.

  9. Sabrina says:

I do hate my name too, my ex-best friend used to call me Sabribri. My parents were originally going to call me Dakota. As a tomboy, I like Dakota better. If I had the chance to change my name I would.

  10. Sabrina (Bree) says:

    Honestly, if I could change my name, I would. I hate it, I know it’s uncommon and I know it “sounds pretty”, but I just don’t like it. Especially because It is super easy to butcher in my city. And A lot of people come up with stupid nick names such as;
Bean, Beana, Beana Reena, Breen, Breana, BIna, Iana, Sub, Sab, Sabina, and Bina.

  11. Sabrina says:

I honestly love my name! It’s not a common name, but also not too exotic, and you get some pretty cool (and also uncool) nicknames growing up (some are good for a laugh). Some nicknames I’ve got: Sabby (seems to be a natural one and the most popular), Sab, Beaner, Bri, Brina, Sab, SabsTabs, Sabatron (lol). I’ve never really been referred to as Bri or Brena, but some Sabrina’s get that a lot.

For the most part, beyond close friends and growing up, people don’t shorten the name Sabrina.

  12. sabrena says:
