Ok so my Dad’s name was Brian. Whenever my my mom talked to him she called him Bri. Like Br(eye) so whenever people spilled Brie like Vri I would get so annoyed lol. I’m 21 so that has happened a lot! Reason I have people call me Brie or B is because peers and teachers pronounced it wrong, and it is pronounced Bree-on-a. For a while i liked the nickname Breezy but the only ones that stuck are Brie, B, and my mom calls me BrieDizzle.
I pronounce my name Bree-a-nuh. Found that my American family emphasises the Anna part and pronounces it like Anna from Frozen.
